The Ireland Portugal Business Network (IPBN) was delighted to invite you to a momentous occasion: The Tony Boyle Business Success Awards 2025, which took place on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, from 1030 to 1230 at the Irish Embassy in Lisbon, in partnership with IPBN member Otonomee.
This year marked a pivotal moment in the IPBN's history as we honor the memory and legacy of our founder and former Chairman, James Anthony "Tony" Boyle.
Honouring a Legacy of Connection and Conviction
Tony Boyle was a pioneering Irish telecoms entrepreneur who built a remarkable 50-year career on principles of integrity, passion, and loyalty. His commitment to fairness became national news, and his belief in building bridges led him, alongside his wife Aoife Healy, to relaunch the IPBN in 2016. Tony’s vision laid the groundwork for the dynamic, values-driven platform we rely on today.
Going forward, these awards will carry Tony's name, serving as a permanent tribute to his courage, connection, and conviction. The Tony Boyle Business Success Awards will celebrate those IPBN members who embody his spirit by driving growth, ethical business practices, and enhanced relations between Ireland and Portugal. Three winners were chosen and invited for lunch at the Ambassador Residence in Lisbon together with IPBN Board members and IPBN Execturive Partners.
We spent a beautiful morning of fine company, networking, and celebration at the Irish Embassy, recognizing the leaders who are shaping the future of Irish-Portuguese commerce.
Congratulations again to our 12 members who applied and our 3 winners. Check them all on the pictures below.
