In light of recent events, the IPBN asks, "What will banking look like in the future?". We are in the early stages of The World Economic Forum’s ‘Great Reset’ and we wonder how we can protect and grow our wealth and assets over the next 6.5 years. We got key insights into this topic at the IPBN Conversation with a Leader Series discussion with IPBN member Clive Bydawell, Managing Director at Knowledgesmith Ltd.!,

The event took place Thursday, April 27 at Tribulum Restaurant in the Algarve from 0930 to 1100.  Clive gave us an in-depth look at the future of banking. We have recorded Clive's talk and you can listen to it here on the IPBN Podcast platform for everyone in the network. 

Clive guided us through a brief history of "resets", the implications of the current one and how it will affect our finances. Clive also explained the reasons cash, gold, and Bitcoin are threats to the new banking system, what bifurcation can bring to the financial world, and how to approach imminent inflation. 

We hope our members will gain an understanding, through this conversation of how we can best protect ourselves for what the future will bring.

About Clive: Clive completed a post-graduate degree in Financial Law from the University of the Free State, and for a number of years, worked as a Certified Financial Planner for a large pensions company learning the trade secrets of the financial world. Since moving to the UK and Portugal, Clive has retired from giving professional financial advice and is focused on running Knowledgesmith, a video production company serving its international clients in social media marketing and compliance training.
