Clive started his early career as an entrepreneur with four desktop IBM computers, teaching Lotus 1-2-3 and WordPerfect in the 1980’s.

Over the next few years, the Ambassador group grew into a Microsoft Authorised Training Centre and CISCO Platinum Learning Partner providing technical training to thousands of students in systems and solutions development courses. We were pioneers in technical online video training when dial-up modems were starting to give way to “faster” ADSL technologies and by the end of 1998 the group was sold to Boston City Campus.

After this, he completed a post-graduate degree in Financial Law from the University of the Free State, and for a number of years worked as a Certified Financial Planner® for a large pensions company learning the trade secrets of the financial world.

Since moving to the UK and Portugal, Clive has retired from giving professional financial advice and is focused on running Knowledgesmith a video production company serving its international clients in social media marketing and compliance training.
