Master Class - The Culture of Health within an Organisation

Following the success and interest of a recent Master Class with Elaine Godley last October about "Unlocking Workplace Harmony Through Behavioral Profiling", we decided to follow it with another one around Health in the Workplace.

Employers have a responsibility to ensure employees are safe at work and protect them where possible from physical & psychosocial risks, and provide equity of care to all in order to reduce the rise of supplementary health insurance costs while reducing absenteeism and increasing employee retention.

Our next IPBN Master Class took place Tuesday April 30 at 10h via Zoom with IPBN members Elaine Godley (Health Mentor) and Physician Executive at HealthNEXT Dr. Shane Farrelly from SomarMed entitled "The Culture of Health within an Organisation." 

We found out why buy-in from senior leadership is so essential to implement a culture of health within the workplace, why thought leadership and DISC matter, why companies determine their health score and incorporate data analytics to measure the impact of its interventions around the social determinants of health and so much more.

Elaine and Shane discussed the importance of informing employees how they can take responsibility for their health through the provision of tools to help them make informed decisions.There was plenty of  time for questions from the audience. 

The Master Class was open to IPBN members and non members and was free of charge
