IPBN member Zofia Howell at KRA Portugal says that it takes €500 Million to make Lisbon more sustainable. The new mayor of Lisbon, Carlos Moedas has plans to make the city more sustainable. The “Lisboa Solar” project is part of the Great Options of the 2022-2026 Plan (GOP) which provides for the production of electricity for self-consumption in public and private buildings.

Following the end of the panel discussions at the IPBN’s third-annual Sustainability Conference at the CCIP in Lisbon, the IPBN has organized an exclusive tour of the Hub Criativo do Beato (HCB) in Lisbon and a tour of the Ombria Resort in the Algarve the following week.
The Embassy of Ireland and the IPBN, in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland, held a fascinating seminar on Ireland-Portugal Economic Relations on Friday, April 29 at the offices of the União de Associações do Comércio e Serviços in Lisbon.
In the Tourism and Events sector, two of our members noted that they were able to readjust their business models and build out their skillsets to fight the negative effects of social distancing, lockdowns, and closed borders on their businesses: United Events Global and Quinta dos Vales
