IPBN member Bernadette Clancy said that it's a great start to a new week to see four members of Crafters of Ireland featured in Irish Arts and Entertainment December issue, thanks to James McDonough publisher for his ongoing support in our efforts to put the spotlight on small business in Ireland, the US and around the globe. This time the feature covers members from Dublin, Cork, and Clare.

IPBN Executive Partner AGREEN Full Cycle Building Management posted that 83% of investors predict growing demand for sustainable buildings and AGREEN is part of this journey and put Sustainability as one of the main vectors of development. And this subject will actually be the theme of the IPBN annual Sustainability conference next year to take place as usual on St. Patrick’s Day (Thursday, March 17, 2022), with the participation, amongst others, of AGREEN. You can already save the date. All the details to be announced later in 2022.

IPBN Partner of our postponed Porto conference, Invest Porto gave us another example of why choosing Porto as a business and investment destination is a good idea. Mercan Group highlights the ease in "finding excellent spaces for rehabilitation" and "doing business with the city."

IPBN member Christophe Ginguene announced that "Every day I will explore and explain one area of #TRUST. Have a look and share your thoughts."

IPBN partner Aicep Portugal Global told us that between January and September 2021, the Portuguese Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 4.3 percent. In the same period, exports grew 9.9 percent and imports 11.9 percent. And Portugal has definitively stopped using coal for power production, 9 years before the 2030 deadline. Since 61,7% of the country's electricity comes from renewable sources, Portugal is becoming a green energy location!

IPBN member Saltwater Consulting continued with their theme of the month: “Annual Reviews” with this article by Rebecca M. Knight, “Delivering an Effective Performance Review.”

IPBN partner Susana Cardoso from Visit Portugal Ireland advised us to read in the Expat Insider 2021 guide: "With its 5th place out of 59 destinations, Portugal is in fact the only European destination to make it into the top 10 of the overall ranking. Expats appreciate most aspects of life in Portugal ...while ex-pats particularly appreciate the high quality of life (3rd)."
