The Porto Business School Signs an Academic Partnership with the IPBN

In 2025, the IPBN set its sights to be all about partnerships. So, we are proud to announce our academic partnership agreement — this time with the Porto Business School — to bring student and business leaders from Ireland to the school. The protocol was signed at the end of January and announced on LinkedIn at the beginning of February, 2025.

Thank you to Luís Garrido Marques, Vice Dean of the school, and to IPBN Porto chair John Paul Prior for formalizing this initiative.

Also present at the signing were IPBN General Manager Arnold Delville, Diogo Vieira da Silva in charge of the Innovation X Hub, and Rita Marques, Invited Faculty Member and Program Director. The Innovation X Hub is also looking to develop partnerships with Irish companies and do business in Portugal, something the IPBN intends to assist with in any way we can, so reach out to us for more information!

Their online and in-person executive programs in tourism (with Rita Marques), sustainability, AI, and more are excellent tools for businesses to leverage to further their growth and understanding. We look forward to creating more synergies between our academic partners in Portugal and Ireland and beyond, to put students and business leaders together, to broaden possibilities, to add to existing research, and to strive toward business and academic success.
