IPBN Lisbon Networking Evening: Connect, Learn & Look Ahead
Thursday, 24 September | 18:30–20:00
What’s happening across the IPBN network — and what does it mean for your business?
We invited all our members in Lisbon on Thursday, 24 September, to our first in-person IPBN event in the city after the summer. Hosted at 42 Lisboa in Beato, a dynamic hub for technology, innovation, and collaboration, the evening brought members together to reconnect, network, and look ahead to what’s coming across the IPBN. And we had the chance to taste some of the best Portuguese wines kindly offered for this special event by IPBN Member Elite Vinhos. Watch the short video here on the IPBN YouTube channel to learn more.
We shared the IPBN agenda for the months ahead, including the key business trends, opportunities, and activities emerging across the different regions where our network is active.
We also looked at what these developments mean for our members — from opportunities to connect with businesses in Ireland and Portugal, to upcoming events, partnerships, and ways to get more involved in the network.
Most importantly, there was plenty of time to meet fellow IPBN members, exchange ideas, and make new connections over drinks and informal networking. Watch Geoffrey Graham, Chair of the IPBN, describe the event in real time.
Special thank you to IPBN member Elite Vinhos who offered the wines that evening. In 2014, after selling part of their business, Christian Vermet and his wife Mary started looking for a new project to work on together. They fell in love with the wine making region of the Alentejo in Portugal and bought Herdade de Ceuta.
About 42 - The School of the Future
Born in France more than ten years ago, 42 expanded worldwide to more than thirty countries, arriving in Lisbon and settling in Unicorn Factory Lisbon. 42 Lisboa and 42 Porto are part of 42 Portugal, which has 1,000 active students and more than 70,000 registrations.
Our inclusive approach allows all individuals, regardless of academic background or professional experience, to develop new skills. Here, you will learn to program from scratch and, eventually, choose the specialization that interests you the most, such as cybersecurity, AI, game development, among many others.
Another key factor is that, besides being free, the school is open 24 hours a day, so you can balance the course with other commitments.
