The IPBN Committee in the Algarve was delighted to held the second edition of the IPBN Tourism conference on Wednesday, May 24 at Quinta do Lago, Clubhouse from 0900 to 1pm. This conference was a follow-up to our January 2021 Algarve Living Webinar series that took place during the pandemic and the first edition of our Tourism Conference in Lisbon last September.

Through our line-up of key industry guest speakers, we reviewed the progress made in the Algarve region since the end of the pandemic through insights from keynote speakers Sean Moriarty, CEO of Quinta do Lago, David Simón-Santiñán, Head of Public & Corporate Affairs, Ryanair, Richard Clingen, Owner and CEO at The Portugal News and Helder Martins, President of AHETA – Associação dos Hotéis e Empreendimentos Turísticos do Algarve and a series of panel discussions.

Over the course of three panel discussions focused on Wellness and Health Tourism, Tourism Resort Development Trends, and Sport/Leisure activities available in the region, we hope we made your stay in the Algarve the best it can possibly be. We believe we have assembled a very exciting line-up of keynote and guest speakers to present the Algarve as one of the best travel and holiday, but also business destinations.

The conference was broadcasted live on Zoom for our audience in Ireland looking at spending their holidays and moving to Portugal.
