It was with great excitement that the Ireland Portugal Business Network announced the 4th Edition of its Business Success Award! The ceremony took place at the Embassy of Ireland in Lisbon Thursday February 2 from 4.30pm to 6pm.
Thank you again all for your presence in Lisbon at the Irish Embassy for a very well attended event. Thank you to H.E. Ralph Victory, Ambassador of Ireland to Portugal for his presence and constant support and to Geoffrey Graham, Chair of the IPBN and Board members present for their time and support.
And of course a big thank you to all the 14 members who applied this year for the Award and congratulations to Rachael Milne from Aspira who have won the 2022 Business Success Award.
The Business Success Award plays an important role in the IPBN's active dedication to promoting its member companies' success, diversity, and resilience through difficult times. Additionally, it gives members the perfect opportunity to look back over the last year and highlight their own successes.
Deciding factors that determined the winning applicant depended on the company's innovation, sustainability (a cornerstone of the IPBN), job creation, and dedication to helping to increase business and grow trade between Ireland and Portugal.
Congratulations again to all the 14 members who applied this year for a fantastic year and to a very worthy 2022 winner, Aspira Portugal!
We look forward seeing you all again in 2024 for a new edition of the IPBN Business Success Award !

We were very pleased to have Irish software and digital consulting company and new IPBN Executive partner Ardanis Technologies as this year’s sponsor of the IPBN Business Success Awards. Ardanis selected Portugal as the location for their expansion because of Portugal’s reputation as Europe’s fastest-growing tech ecosystem, offering a desirable lifestyle which developers are seeking.
Explaining the reason for selecting Portugal, Ardanis’ Stefan Goor, Group CIO said: “The expansion will support the company’s strategy to drive international growth and develop software products and services that will deliver next generation digital solutions. We were attracted by Portugal’s superb tech talent and its ideal location to support our global business. Portugal is a wonderful, outward-looking country that aligns perfectly with our values and international culture.”
By the end of 2023, Ardanis aims to create 14 jobs consisting of software developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, Scrum masters and Product owners. With a focus on sustainability in software and in software development, the company will also be exploring the possibility of new partnerships with other companies and universities to explore and investigate this emerging topic, eventually organizing or co-organizing events to bring the discussion and awareness to a broader audience.Booking Closed
