We held the last Master Class of the year as we looked ahead to 2025 on December 17 from 10h to 11h via Zoom. We invited all our members to listen to a member/expert from each region we are active in (Porto, Lisbon, Algarve, and Ireland) to talk about what business opportunities they see in their respective regions for 2025.

Each of the four guest speakers took 10 minutes to talk about their region followed by a conversation with the attendees.

The guest speakers had all been chosen for their knowledge of local businesses and SMEs, which was very helpful in preparing our members' objectives and strategy for 2025. These four guest speakers are key business players and leaders who bring business to their regions and therefore have a good idea of what to expect in 2025.

Here are their profiles:

Elisa Tarzia is VP for Growth from BRIDGE IN. Elisa will join us to talk about the business opportunities in the Lisbon region. BRIDGE IN helps tech companies explore new markets by providing professional soft landing and business relocation services in Portugal.

Carlos Justino is an AI Adoption & Strategic Growth Advisor, Driving Innovation & Efficiency for Businesses and is based at the Algarve Tech Hub in Faro at the UAlg. Carlos will talk about the business opportunities in the Algarve region. The Algarve Tech Hub is a Tech Ecosystem that aims to promote and grow the Algarve region as a global technological hub.

Professor Ricardo Morais is Assistant Professor of Management at IPBN academic partner Católica Porto Business School and Director of Idea Puzzle. Ricardo will talk about the Porto and North region of Portugal. Católica Porto Business School is among the best business schools in the world, being a part of a very restricted group of 1% of business schools with EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB accreditation distinctions.

Nial Borthistle is Business Development & Partnerships Manager at Glandore and is based in Dublin. Nial will talk about the business opportunities in Ireland. Glandore offers innovative, flexible workspace with prestigious addresses in the heart of the business and tech hubs of Dublin, Belfast and Cork.
