The Ireland Portugal Business Network (IPBN) was delighted to join this year’s Algarve Tech Hub Summit to take place at the Hotel Vila Galé in Lagos— a two-day (Nov 6 & 7) celebration of innovation, technology, and collaboration in one of Europe’s most dynamic regions.
As part of the Summit’s programme, we hosted Friday November 7 from 1350 to 1445 a special panel discussion, “Building Bridges Between Ireland and Portugal,” featuring members:
Andrea Viegas, Honorary Consul of Ireland in the Algarve
Carlos Justino, IPBN Member and AI Adoption & Strategic Growth Consultant
Brian Shanahan, IPBN Member and Business Advisor, Founder of Informita
Moderated by Sharon Farrell, IPBN Board Member, Chair of the IPBN Algarve
Together, they shared their personal and professional experiences of doing business between Ireland and Portugal — exploring opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, and companies on both sides.
It proved to be an engaging session highlighting real stories of connection, collaboration, and cross-border growth.
As usual, the event was open to members and non members and of course to all the delegates of the Algarve Tech Hub Summit and was free of charge.
