The Algarve continues to attract international businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs, but where are the real opportunities for those looking to invest in the region?
The Ireland Portugal Business Network invited its members on Wednesday, 14 October, for a special Conversation with a Leader with Andrea Viegas, IPBN member, lawyer, and Honorary Consul of Ireland in the Algarve, hosted at Tribulum Restaurant.
In conversation with Carlos Justino, loyal active IPBN member & Founder of Witflow, Andrea shared her experience working with national and international clients, offering practical insights into the B2B investment opportunities available across the Algarve and Portugal. The conversation explored which sectors are showing particular potential, what investors and entrepreneurs should consider when entering the Portuguese market, and some of the legal, corporate, tax, and real estate considerations that can shape an investment decision.
Andrea also shared her perspective on Ireland’s current Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and the opportunities it may create for the Algarve and for stronger connections between Irish and Portuguese businesses.
With her extensive experience in negotiation, real estate, corporate law, tax, and succession planning, Andrea brings a strategic, solution-driven perspective to the conversation, with a particular focus on supporting both national and international clients navigating complex matters.
The conversation was followed by an IPBN Member Meet Member (MMM) networking session, providing an informal opportunity to meet fellow members, exchange ideas, and explore potential business connections and partnerships in the Algarve.
