But first,

Last week, we were in Porto for another networking event at the Porto Business School in presence of Dean Ramon O’ Callaghan. The same day we heard from our strategic Partner Invest Porto that Porto took the lead as the Best European City of the Future for FDI! With an upward trajectory in recent years, 2023 consecrates Porto's strategy of promoting foreign direct investment with the Financial Times placing it at the top of the European Cities and Regions of the Future.

We are delighted to see the progress the network is making in the region and are excited to be part of the development of trade and business in the region.

Also, on March 15 in Porto at the Sheraton, the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry will organize an International Forum with the collaboration of more than 20 Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in Portugal, international buyers, market experts, and the IPBN will exceptionally take part in it this year. If you are in Porto that day, come and join us.

Lastly, our Executive Partner Stefan Goor, CIO at Ardanis said it was great to speak at the Sustainability Summit. "Lots of great speakers and exhibitors with some great insights on how to support Sustainability." Stefan will also be a guest speaker at the IPBN Sustainability conference during St Patrick’s Day in Lisbon on March 17. IPBN member Millimetre Design exhibited their unique designs at CATEX event at The RDS, Dublin. They invited all to drop by and meet with MD Ronan Holohan and Project Directors Maria Rice Sinead Black William Hanley Martin Woolley to discuss how they can transform your business - both interiors and branding.

IPBN member John McCoy, CEO at ProprHome says that launching a startup never moves in straight lines. "This was something an investor said to me a few years ago when I was full of ideas and (green) enthusiasm. It stuck with me, but I never envisaged how it would become part of my story, so ingrained in my own startup journey."
