The Ireland Portuguese Business Network is pleased to announce the 3rd edition of our annual Innovation Conference, taking place on Thursday, 18 June 2026, from 9h to 13h at the Guinness Enterprise Centre in Dublin, followed by a light networking lunch.

This year’s conference theme, “Food, Health and Wellness,” will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, and business leaders from Ireland and Portugal to explore how science, technology, sustainability, and international collaboration are shaping the future of food systems and human health.

Through a series of dynamic panel discussions and keynote contributions, the event will examine emerging trends and opportunities across FoodTech, nutrition, wellness innovation, sustainable food production, and international business development. The conference aims to strengthen cooperation between Ireland and Portugal while highlighting innovative work taking place in both countries across environmental, social, sustainable, and economic dimensions.

The programme will feature conversations around evidence-based nutritional solutions that support human health and longevity, the future of FoodTech and health innovation, sustainable food systems from “land to table,” and export development opportunities for Food & Drink startups and SMEs seeking international growth.

Opening the conference will be a keynote statement on the EU Food 2030 Programme delivered by Shannen Healy, sustainability consultant and founder of Green Gal, who is listed as a Food2030 Ambassador under the EU Horizon Europe programme focused on sustainable food systems.

Panel discussions throughout the morning will feature speakers from leading organisations and innovative businesses in Ireland and Portugal, including representatives from Suplendi, Revive Active, This is Seaweed Ltd., Cascais Food Lab, Nick's Coffee Co Ltd, Beotanics Ltd, and other key stakeholders across food innovation, sustainability, agriculture, and export development.
