Gerry is the principal of Prizeman Consulting, working as a trainer, lecturer and Executive Coach since 2015. Prior to this he gained over 35 years experience in the Irish Financial Services market, many of them in leadership roles. Gerry brings this extensive and practical experience to his work in support of people committing to their own leadership and personal development.

He works with individuals and teams, both as a one to one executive Coach and through his skilled facilitation of team leadership programmes. His coaching approach is one of facilitated learning whereby the coachee is encouraged, challenged and supported to become the author of his/her own solutions.

Team dynamics, specifically the building of high functioning teams based on trust, accountability and adult engagement is a key element of his work with teams, both new and established. 

He delivers, on behalf of ITT (Irish Times Training), team and leadership development programmes. He also designs and delivers a significant volume of training for ITT, including one day formats on a series of soft skills as well as financial management for start ups. These formats include: negotiation skills, facilitation skills, presentation skills, persuading & influencing skills, assertiveness skills, coaching for development, people management, communications skills, sales training, change management.

Gerry holds a Masters Degree in Business and Executive Coaching from the Michael Smurfit UCD Business School, an ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Finance and is a Graduate of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
