Case Study - Working in Portugal on behalf of Irish companies - Nest Collective - Miguel Antunes
As the IPBN gears up to showcase of Portugal's dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem in Dublin, we invite you to get to know a bit more about the companies behind the conference who have put their stamp on the event to provide attendees with an in-depth introduction to doing business in Portugal. Thanks are in order to those who have made it possible: IPBN member companies Waratah Properties, Tax Libris, Wyndham Grand Algarve Residences, and IPBN Executive Partners Skanstec Engineering and Brookes Property Group, and QP Savills.
From insightful podcasts and exclusive interviews to powerful events and dynamic partnerships, 2025 has already proven to be a standout year for member-driven activity across both Ireland and Portugal.
It is with deep sadness that we mark the passing of James Anthony Boyle, the founder and former Chairman of the IPBN. Tony passed away peacefully at the age of 73, leaving behind a legacy of courage, connection, and conviction. Tony was one of Ireland’s leading telecoms entrepreneurs, building a remarkable 50-year career in critical communications both at home and internationally. He co-founded several successful ventures, including Sigma Wireless, and helped shape the infrastructure and ethics of Ireland’s telecommunications industry. He employed hundreds, supported thousands, and conducted business with integrity, passion, and loyalty.
When it comes to the case studies portion of the conference, the IPBN has arranged three significant players in the Algarve tourism industry including Tony Judge, Founder and Chief Executive of IPBN member company and conference sponsor Clubs to Hire, Michael Stock, Administrator of IPBN member company Quinta dos Vales and the Wine Experience, and Cheryl Smith, Owner of IPBN member company Figs on the Funcho.
