The Weekly Roundup November 24 - 28

This week on the roundup: photos, podcasts, members, networking, Christmas dinner, proud moments, strategic breakdowns, discounts, leaders, offers, celebrations, contributions, capabilities, communication, community, innovators, contributions, business, tours, intelligence, technology, and more!

But first, here are the IPBN Highlights of the week

We shared photos from our recent event, in collaboration with our Academic Partner, Católica Porto Business School, from the mini-conference dedicated to exploring investment and partnership opportunities in northern Portugal. The message was clear: The North is rapidly emerging as a dynamic hub for innovation, technology, and sustainable development. We heard compelling insights from leading voices in academia and industry on how to build strategic, cross-border partnerships.

And you will find here on the IPBN Podcast Spotify channel the recording of the opening statement from Joao Pinto, Dean of host of the conference, the Catolica Porto Business school, and the two panel conversations of the conference.

We welcomed our newest member of the IPBN, Elite Vinhos, represented by co-founder Mary Vermet! In 2014, Mary and her husband, Christian, fell in love with the wine-making region of the Alentejo in Portugal and bought Herdade de Ceuta. They started with 3 hectares of vines and quickly became consumed by viticulture. They became firm friends with their technical advisor, Filipe Perdiz, and his wife Helena, both of whom own vineyards and are qualified winemakers.

We announced the last Master Class of 2025 and the Awards 2025. You can find all the details on our Events page here. And Save the date Dec 12 for a networking lunch in the Algarve—details to be announced next week.

IPBN member Flow Productions shared that “Christmas dinner came early this year… but at Flow Productions, we are fans of anticipating good things. On November 24th, we gathered the Flow family for a dinner full of stories, laughter and that good energy that only happens when we are all at the table. Better sooner than never. And together?
