It took a decade, a lot of carnage, and eventually iTunes & Spotify: a mechanism that made licensing at scale possible & made payment easier than piracy.
Journalism needs the same infrastructure.
That's Writers' Bloc EU'.
We fingerprint written content, prove ownership on-chain, monitor AI outputs, & let publishers charge for use.
Built on 450+ interviews & 5 years of research.

You own the entire technical side of the business:
- The fingerprint & detection engine
- The platform: marketplace, payments (including x402), APIs, dashboards
- The path from prototype to enterprise-grade, incl. SOC2 & ISO27001
- Infrastructure, internal tooling, & AI-led efficiency
- Hiring & leading the technical team alongside the CEO
- The technical voice in investor & customer conversations
We're looking for one of two kinds of people to apply.
The builder: track record still forming, or leaving a bigger company to go & build.
Ships fast, learns faster.
The proven operator: has built & shipped real products or companies before, and can prove it.
Commands a larger equity stake.
Either way: you start things yourself, move fast, hit deadlines, & stay calm in the chaos.
Must have:
Full-stack, hands-on.
You design, build, ship, test, & run production software end-to-end.
You make trade-offs under constraints & teach yourself what you don't know.
Strong advantage:
Applied ML / NLP (embeddings, vector search, RAG).
Stack: MERN, AWS, GCP, Docker, CI/CD. SOC 2 / ISO 27001 experience.
Data pipelines, agentic workflows, or web crawling at scale.
Bonus:
Blockchain/smart contracts, x402 payments, marketplace experience, a prior exit.
