The IPBN would like to thank H.E. Ralph Victory, Ambassador of Ireland to Portugal for his distinguished service during his term! It was a bittersweet goodbye at the Ambassador and his wife Karen's residence last night as friends, colleagues, and partners came together to bid the Ambassador and his family a warm farewell. Thank you for all you have done to broaden relations between our two great countries! We look forward to the future and wish you and your family all the best in your next adventure. Joana Apolonio from the Algarve Biomedical Centre posted about the visit of Ireland Portugal Business Network members and committee member Nuno Alexandre from HPA Health Group to the ABC-Algarve Biomedical Centre and the Algarve TEC Health Simulation Centre at the UAlg.
This was organised as a follow-up to the panel discussion at our Tourism conference on May 24 in the Algarve around Medical Tourism and Wellness in which Joana took part. There is a lot we, the IPBN, can do in the region and across Portugal and Ireland to raise awareness of ABC's great work in cancer and ageing research and more and to find investors to support their development.
