Tom is a technology entrepreneur and investor. He was named the Irish software industry’s person of the year 2016 for his unique contribution to the industry. Prominent achievements include The Now Factory, founded by Tom in 2007 and acquired by IBM in 2013 and Arantech, who he co-founded in 2000 and sold to Danaher in 2009. Today, Tom is an active investor in Irish technology companies and continues to nurture some early stage start-ups. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Limerick, and business qualifications from Stanford University.
