Thanks to an invitation from Hélia Gonçalves Pereira, Reitora of the Universidade Europeia in Lisbon, Arnold Delville, General Manager of the IPBN, had the immense privilege this week as the official representative of the Ireland Portugal Business Network to take part in the institutional visit evaluating the European University. This evaluation takes place about every 5 years. Arnold was able to transmit to the committee the excellent relationship and experience the IPBN has with the UE in building bridges between the academic and the business worlds. We are delighted to have been in partnership with the university for almost one year now!

Lastly, a question from LaGrange Group: They have opened a company in Portugal and invested in vehicles and a base. They are currently looking for opportunities in transport, quarrying, aggregates, or construction machinery hire. The company said, "Ideally, we are looking at partnership in sand, aggregate, and other construction material quarrying (mining) or construction machinery "plant hire". But it can also be in road transport related to the construction sector, volumetric concrete mixer, vacuum excavator business, or even standard road haulage." If anyone has any interest, please contact Arnold!
