Following our annual St. Patrick’s Day Sustainability conference, the IPBN was led on an exclusive tour of the Hub Criativo do Beato in Lisbon and Ombria resort grounds in the Algarve to do a deep dive into what these projects are offering toward a greener future and what steps they have taken to ensure sustainability stays a number-one priority.
The main goals of the protocol are to facilitate student placements with IPBN members in Portugal and Ireland, to develop partnerships between the UCP and Universities in Ireland, to champion innovation and sustainability and to create bridges in these two sectors between the academic and the business world with the IPBN, and to explore synergies and partnerships between the two countries in the textile and biotechnology industries, among others.
Just as the IPBN found rest and inspiration during our time away, we hope the August break has recharged our members as we have an exciting program ahead that will surely stimulate you further as things go back to business as usual.
Whether you are a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Ireland, Portugal, or elsewhere, it’s important to know your options for growth.
