In partnership with StartUp Lisboa, the IPBN invited all its members to join us in Lisbon at the HQ of StartUp Lisboa on Rua Prata May the 4th from 4.30pm to 6pm to learn about How to Implement HR in your Start-Up. HR shouldn’t be a black box of mystery but for many scale-ups, it is.

Keynote speaker Reggy Degen, Founder of Q7Leader, Author of the People Model Canvas, and Human Resources Professor at Solvay Business School joined us remotely from Brussels and told us about the ten steps to implement HR in your start-up. Every year, Reggy coaches start-ups and scale-ups helping them to get their people basics right using the People Model Canvas. With 20 years of International HR, 17 years of Faculty at Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management in Brussels, and eight years of Entrepreneurship in HR Tech, Reggy was the perfect candidate to give us this most important glimpse into this topic. Additionally, IPBN member Pedro Henriques, Founder & CEO at BRIDGE IN, closed the event by saying a few words about the average salary in the Tech industry in Portugal and the cost of employment. In a recent LinkedIn post, Pedro said, "Tech roles are in high demand, meaning salaries are expected to grow, especially for more senior positions."
